The Council of the Notaries of the European Union (CNUE) published its European directory of notaries on Friday 14 October, so that EU citizens can now find a notary who speaks their language anywhere in Europe. On the website http://www.notaries-directory.eu “citizens will now be able to find a notary in Prague, for example, who speaks English and will be able to help them in their cross-border dealings (buying a property, settling a succession, etc)”, says the CNUE. Information is available in the 23 languages of the European Union. The project received European Commission support. (SP/transl.rt)
