29/09/2011 (Agence Europe) - Bosnia may join WTO. On 28 September, the World Trade Organisation's member countries expressed support for rapid conclusion of the WTO accession negotiations of the former Yugoslav state of Bosnia Herzegovina. Further clarifications are required from Sarajevo on the import and export duty chapters, antidumping measures, health and plant health measures, technical obstacles to trade, free-trade zones, farming and intellectual property. Three of the ten bilateral trade deals on access to the goods and services market negotiated by Bosnia at the WTO have already been concluded. (EH/transl.fl)
