23/06/2011 (Agence Europe) - Spain presents candidate to post of “Mr Mediterranean”. The Spanish government has formally presented its candidate to the post of special EU envoy for the Mediterranean, Spanish press agency EFE reports. Catherine Ashton set out her intention to create this post in her project to structure the new European diplomatic service. Bernardino León is currently Secretary General to the presidency of the Spanish government.
