Brussels, 31/05/2011 (Agence Europe) - “Europe & Me” is a British online magazine for young Europeans. On 31 May in Aachen, it won the first prize in the European Charlemagne Youth competition. The second prize was won by “Balkans Beyond Borders”, a short film made in Greece. The third prize was won by the “Erasmus Escena Project” (Spain), a cultural exchange programme for students. The three winning projects will receive funding of €5,000, €3,000 and €2,000 respectively. The European Charlemagne Youth Prize annually rewards efforts made by young people to promote European identity and integration amongst youth. (I.L./transl.fl)
