Brussels, 30/05/2011 (Agence Europe) - At a policy debate at the Competitiveness Council on Monday 30 May 2011, Spain and inlay announced that they have lodged a legal appeal at the EU General Court against the March 2011 decision to allow the use of 'strengthened cooperation' in the field of EU patents. All EU Member States apart from Italy and Spain want strengthened cooperation to be used to get out of the language deadlock on this issue.
