At the European conference on tourism, which will be held in Budapest on 12-13 May, the vice-president of the European Commission, Antonio Tajani, will present the results of the Eurobarometer survey on the tourism behaviour of Europeans. This is the third consecutive year in which the Commission has carried out such a full survey, providing comparable information for all players in the tourism sector. The issues discussed at the conference will include new tourism products, responsible business practices for a sustainable tourism policy and the responsible behaviour of tourists when on holiday.
