Brussels, 07/04/2011 (Agence Europe) - This year, World Health Day on 7 April focused on efforts to combat antimicrobial resistance (AMR). The Commission joined with the World Health Organisation (WHO) in calling for greater efforts to be deployed in addressing the growing threat of potentially deadly bacteria developing resistance to antimicrobial drugs.
