Italy prepares to deliver residence permits; France sends circular

Brussels, 07/04/2011 (Agence Europe) - Italy, under a decree and in line with an agreement with Tunisia, will grant temporary “humanitarian” visas to the Tunisian immigrants already in the country. These visas will allow the immigrants to travel to any of the countries of the Schengen border-free area, Italian Home Affairs Minister Roberto Maroni announced on Thursday 7 April.
