30/03/2011 (Agence Europe) - ATD Fourth World: assessment measures. In Brussels on Wednesday 6 April, the Cercle Wresinski is holding a meeting on the subject What measures are available to us to check the effectiveness of anti-poverty measures?. Prof William Parienté (Catholic University of Louvain, UCL) will present the innovative method developed by Esther Duflo, the first holder of the "Knowledge against poverty" Chair at the Collège de France and winner of the UCL Honoris Causa prize 2010. The members of the workshop on increasing knowledge and practice, initiated by the movement ATD Fourth World, will discuss the situation of people living in poverty and social exclusion in research works.
