Brussels, 16/12/2010 (Agence Europe) - King Abdullah II of Jordan, who is currently visiting Belgium, met President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President José Manuel Barroso on Wednesday 15 December and High Representative for Foreign Policy Catherine Ashton on Thursday 16. As well as discussing the international political scene, in particular in the Middle East, the King, in his various meetings, spoke about bilateral relations which are becoming stronger with Jordan's inclusion among the Mediterranean countries to which “advanced status” has been offered.
