€67 million in aid for France and Portugal

Brussels, 15/12/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Tuesday 14 December in Strasbourg, the European Parliament adopted by 476 to 7 and 2 abstentions the resolution prepared by ReiMer Böge (EPP, Germany) relating to the EU Solidarity Fund to repair storm damage in France and Portugal. February 2010 storms had caused flooding in France and caused landslides and flooding on the Portuguese island of Madeira.
