02/12/2010 (Agence Europe) - Loan for rail link to Helsinki airport. On Wednesday 1 December, the European Investment Bank (EIB) announced a €45 million loan to Finavia Corporation to co-finance a rail link between Helsinki Airport and the city centre (the “Ring Rail Line project”). The EIB points out that Helsinki Airport is an important hub for intercontinental flights east and west. The Ring Rail Line should be completed in 2014. (O.L./transl.fl)
