Brussels, 02/12/2010 (Agence Europe) - On 19 October, by proposing a five-year moratorium on animal cloning for food in the EU, the European Commission hoped to facilitate the adoption of the amended regulation on new foodstuffs, if possible under Belgian presidency (see EUROPE 10239). It is the Hungarian presidency that will inherit this “hot potato” in January.
