Turkey's five priorities

Brussels, 12/11/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 10 November, Turkey took on the six-monthly rotating presidency of the Council of Europe, the day after publication by the European Commission of a mixed report on the state of Turkey's negotiations to join the European Union (see EUROPE 10253). Turkey took over at the helm of the Council of Europe from the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) and will hand over to Ukraine on 11 May 2011.
