Conditional visa liberalisation for Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina

Brussels, 08/11/2010 (Agence Europe) - EU home affairs ministers decided on Monday 8 November that, by mid-December, citizens of Albania and Bosnia and Herzegovina should no longer need visas to travel to the Schengen area, but left the door open for the visa requirement to be re-established for all Balkan countries if there is any abuse. “The major news is that member states voted unanimously for visa liberalisation for Albania ands Bosnia and Herzegovina,” said Belgian Secretary of...
