José Bové calls on EFSA chairwoman to resign

Brussels, 01/10/2010 (Agence Europe) - On 29 September, Green MEP José Bové (France) slammed a conflict of interests over genetically modified organisms (GMOs) within the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA). Bové, deputy chairman of the European Parliament agricultural committee, has called for the “fundamental” reform of EFSA to ensure it is fully independent.
