Parliament approval likely on reallocating €115 million to develop green energy at local level

Brussels, 03/09/2010 (Agence Europe) - With the adoption, on Thursday 2 September, by 49 votes to 0, and four abstentions, of the report by Kathleen Van Brempt (S&D, Belgium) the European Parliament energy, industry and research (ITRE) committee gave its seal of approval to reallocating €115 million of unspent money from the European recovery plan and its energy programme for recovery, worth a total of €3.98 billion.
