European insurance companies invited to join new impact study on Solvency II Directive

Brussels, 25/08/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission is urging European insurance and re-insurance companies to take part in the fifth quantitative impact study (QIS5) on EU Directive 2009/138/EC on surveillance of the insurance industry. The new impact study will be carried out between now and November by the European Insurance and Professional Pensions Committee (CEIOPS) to help set out the details of the implementing measures for the Solvency II Directive and take a final...
