Payment of third balance of payments support tranche to Romania can go ahead

Brussels, 04/08/2010 (Agence Europe) - The conditions enabling Romania to benefit from the third tranche (€1.2 billion) in balance of payments aid, have been fulfilled. European Commission services announced this news on Wednesday 4 August, following a joint meeting in Bucharest with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank (From 26 July to 4 August).
