European Commission adopts key regulation for creation of Single European Sky

Brussels, 30/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - Sixteen months ahead of the initial schedule, the European Commission adopted, on Thursday 29 July, a “performance regulation” for the Single European Sky, a programme for modernising air traffic management in Europe (EUROPE 9682). The regulation, which is one of the key steps in the programme, establishes ways to improve the performance of air navigation services and reduce the cost of flights in Europe.
