15/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission announced on Thursday 15 July that it was adding three agriculture and food products to the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) and Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) lists. These are Italian products, “Pesca di Leonforte” (peach - PGI), “Farro di Monteleone de Spoleto” (spelt - PDO) and “Melanzana Rossa di Rotonda” (aubergine - PDO).
