Loan to Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia for water and waste water sector

Brussels, 15/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 14 July, the European Investment Bank (EIB) granted a €50 million loan to the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) to finance water and wastewater investments in the country.

The loan will cover 50% of the total cost of the project, which seeks to increase the water supply in rural areas and improve wastewater disposal throughout the country. The programme loan concerns investments in most of the country's 84 municipalities in...
