Brussels, 14/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - On 14 July, the European Commission decided to close its investigation in to the transatlantic “oneworld airline alliance”, which brings together European airlines British Airways (UK) and Iberia (Spain) and the US American Airlines. In a move which should allow competitors to open or develop their activities on six transatlantic routes, the Commission made the commitments offered by the three companies legally binding for 10 years.
