Brussels, 01/07/2010 (Agence Europe) - The European Parliament will meet in Strasbourg from Monday 5 to Thursday 8 July. This plenary session will take stock of the Spanish Presidency and assess the priorities of the incoming Belgian Presidency of the Council of the EU. On the agenda will be massively important issue of financial supervision and also the keenly awaited reports on the Swift agreement ands the European External Action Service (EEAS). Decisions on transport, economic governance and fisheries are scheduled, too. In addition, MEPs will debate Iceland's application to join the EU and the situation in Albania and Kosovo.
