According to advocate general, United Kingdom cannot make legitimate claim to take part in decision-making on access to Schengen Area VIS system

Brussels, 25/06/2010 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 25 June, the advocate general delivered his conclusions in Case C-482/08, saying, in substance, that he does not consider as founded the United Kingdom's appeal against the JHA Council decision (2008/633/JHA) to refuse the UK participation in decision adoption procedure on access to the Visa Information System (VIS) of the Schengen Area.
