Brussels, 01/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - In response to the earthquake of magnitude 8.8 which hit central Chile during the night of Saturday 27 to Sunday 28 February, leaving 708 dead and one million homeless, the European Union has expressed its solidarity with the families of the victims and is making €3 million available immediately for emergency relief.
