01/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - The Article 29 working group (G29) of EU national data protection bodies has urged Google to reduce the period of time that its search engines keep focussed images used by Street View. It currently keeps the images for a year, which G29 describes as “disproportionate”, and calls for it to be reduced to six months, according to a G29 letter sent to Google on 11 February.
