Brussels, 01/03/2010 (Agence Europe) - The president of the European Commission, José Manuel Barroso, has expressed the solidarity of the European Commission to all of the European countries hit by the terrible storm, named Xynthia. The European commissioner for regional policy, Johannes Hahn, has sent his condolences to the families of the French regions badly hit by the worst effects of the storm, particularly the Vendée and Charente.
