Poland warned about application of asymmetric termination rates in favour of P4

Brussels, 27/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - In a letter sent on Friday 27 November, the European Commission asked the Polish telecoms regulator, Urz¹d Komunikacji Elektronicznej (UKE), not to unnecessarily prolong asymmetric termination rates mobile telephone operator P4 has been allowed to operate. The Commission says that authorisation granted this operator to apply a higher mobile termination rate than its four competitors cannot be justified and contravenes its recommendation on termination...
