Council gives its approval to agreement on "telecoms package"

Brussels, 23/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 20 November, the Council of Ministers unanimously approved the compromise text on the "telecoms package". This decision comes further to the political agreement concluded on the night of Wednesday 4 November to Thursday 5 November between in the delegation of the European Parliament and the representatives of the member states meeting for the conciliation committee (see EUROPE 10013).
