05/11/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Wednesday 4 November, the Standing Committee on the Food Chain and Animal Health unanimously supported a draft decision amending the rules on classical swine fever in the light of the significant improvement of the disease situation in Romania. The marketing of pig meat and pig meat-based products processed in Romania under strict traceability measures will now be authorised.
