Brussels, 19/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - Confidence among small businesses is picking up slightly despite the rather bleak prospects in investment and jobs, a survey conducted by UEAPME, the European craft and SME employers' organisation, has revealed. According to the business affairs indicator, published on Monday 19 October, 40% of the some 25,000 SMEs polled all over Europe expect a fall in their activities, when six months ago the figure was 50% (for the previous survey, see EUROPE 9861)....
