19/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 16 October, the European Commission authorised the proposed acquisition of Spring Group PLC of the UK by Adecco S.A. of Switzerland, both active in the provision of employment services. The Commission's investigation showed that, despite a slight overlap in the provision of temporary employment services for IT specialists in the UK, the proposed concentration would not raise competition concerns in the European Economic Area.
