31/03/2006 (Agence Europe) - The Bulgarian parliament approved its third series of amendments to the Constitution on Thursday (relating to legal reform), with 184 votes to 35, i.e. by only 4 votes above the required minimum majority of three quarters, it is stated in the Sofia Morning News. The daily specifies that most of the MPs from nationalistic fraction Ataka (Attack) were hostile to the amendments and were missing from the vote which took place in the presence of Prime Minister Sergey Stanishev, Vice President Anguel Marin, and many diplomats.
