28/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - The leader of the European Parliament's Committee on Culture, Michel Rocard, who, together with the former Slovenian President Milan Kucan, jointly chairs the International Ethical, Political and Scientific Collegium, will proceed on 2 April to present the European Parliament with the Interdependence Declaration the Collegium presented on 26 February to the UN. The Collegium was created in February 2002 by various politicians (including several heads of state or former heads of state from around the world, such as Vaclav Havel, Richard von Weiszäcker or Ricardo Lagos) Nobel Prize winners and key figures such as Gro Brundtland, Director-Generalof the World Health Organisation, who were anxious to react after 11 September 2001 by a proclamation "on global intersolidarity", the emergence of a "global citizenship" and the protection of "global public property ".
