28/03/2003 (Agence Europe) - Discussing the increased risk of terrorist acts due to the war in Iraq, EU Ministers of the Interior, during their informal meeting in Greece (see pp 8 and 10), stressed that intelligence services were expected to better cooperate between them, in the same way at the anti-terrorist Europol cell. The situation is for the instant under control and even if there are reasons for worry and to be on the alert, there is not special case for alarm, declared the German Minister of the Interior, Otto Shilly, in a reference to the ideas introduced by diplomats. He did, however inform the press of his worries about the increasing risks if the conflict went on. Ministers also mentioned a special meeting in Austria with anti-terrorist experts form Member States.
