27/11/2001 (Agence Europe) - SME and social market economy: this is the theme of the conference organised in the European Parliament, on 29 November i Brussels, by the SME Union. The MEP Ingo Friedrichs will introduce the works to which will notably participate the EU Ambassador for Liechtenstein Prinz Nikolaus von Liechtenstein, the Secretary General of the SME Union Hans-Werner Muller and the President of the Yugoslav SME Union, Velimir Vudakin. The talks will cover the following themes: 1) globalisation and challenges for the European socio-economic model; 2) towards a new consensus for economic policies between Christian Dmocrats, Conservatives and Liberals (Info: http://www.sme-union.org ).
