09/11/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Group of the Trilateral Commission (which brings together the United States, Europe and Japan) is holding its 24th regional meeting under the chairmanship of otto Graf Lambsdorff in Milan on 11 and 12 November. Among the speakers expected are Italy's Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Giuliano Amato and Lamberto Dini, European Commissioner Mario Monti, the President of BP Amoco (and former European Commissioner), Peter Sutherland. A session will be devoted to the Euro-Mediterranean Partnership, with Joseph Lapid, of the Knesset, Andre Azoulay, Advisor to the King of Morocco, Miguel Angel Moratinos, EU Special Envoy to the Middle East. Another session will turn to the Institutional Challenges for the Euro System, with Sirkka Hamalainen, Member of the Executive Board of the ECB, and European Commissioner Pedro Solbes.
