25/09/2000 (Agence Europe) - The spokesperson for Commissioner Mario Monti has confirmed that the German television station that had lodged a complaint against the International Automobile Federation over the rules governing the televised broadcasting of "Formula 1 races", had withdrawn its complaint. The Commission's services are nevertheless continuing to examine contracts, regulations and agreements in force, taking account of the suggestions presented by bodies governing these competitions and are prepared to review a part of the disputed rules.
