ENVIRONMENT: despite EPP’s U-turn, Parliament’s pro-European groups manage to salvage interinstitutional agreement on nature restoration

The S&D, Greens/EFA and The Left groups in the European Parliament – helped by a third of the liberals in the Renew Europe group and a few defections within the EPP – ultimately managed to salvage the interinstitutional agreement on the ‘Nature Restoration’ Regulation (see EUROPE B13356A9) at the plenary session on Tuesday 27 February.
