Brussels, 13/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has launched a call for tenders valid until 14 November 2009 for the second phase of the Euro-Mediterranean “motorways of the sea” project, intended to promote an effective, integrated transport system for freight and maritime transport links between the EU and the Mediterranean partner countries as well as between the Mediterranean countries themselves.
