Call for liberation of 36 Iranians taken prisoner during attack on Ashraf Camp

Brussels, 07/10/2009 (Agence Europe) - Belgian CD&V Senator Dirk Claes, MEP Tunne Kelam (EPP, Estonia), international law professor Eric David (ULB, Belgium) and Parisian lawyer Jean-Pierre Spitzer called on the European Union on Tuesday 6 October to firmly condemn the attack on the Ashraf Camp in Iraq at the end of July and the imprisoning of 36 Iranians from the camp by the Iraqi prime minister.
