Brussels, 29/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - The European Union strongly condemns the violent crackdown by Guinean security forces on political demonstrations organised in a stadium in Conakry on 28 September 2009 by the Guinean Forum des Forces Vives. The protestors stated their refusal to accept the possible candidature of the leader of the military junta, currently in power, at the presidential election in January.
