Alarming increase in ATM crime

Brussels, 28/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - Annual cash machine losses in Europe are approaching €500 million, an ENISA report (European Network and Information Security Agency) warns. There was a 149% increase in this type of crime in 2008 following the rapid growth of cash machines (ATMs) in more remote locations, such as convenience stores, airports and petrol stations.
