Brussels, 09/09/2009 (Agence Europe) - According to a decision made by the Court of First Instance on Wednesday 9 September, the Commission was right to rule against the German company, Clearstream Banking AG for having abused its dominant position on the “clearings” market in the financial securities sector. The company refused to provide services to the Belgian Euroclear Bank SA at fair conditions and limited Euroclear's access to the German securities market.
