EU deplores two executions and calls on Thailand to abolish death penalty

Brussels, 28/08/2009 (Agence Europe) - In a statement published on Thursday 27 August by the Swedish EU Presidency, the European Union deplores the execution by lethal injection of Bundit Charoenwanich and Jirawat Phumpruek at the Bank Kwang prison in Bangkok on 24 August.
