Memos to the New Commission - Europe's Economic Priorities 2010-2015 - Brussels, 1 September, at 10.00am in the Résidence Palace, 155 rue de la Loi. The Bruegel think tank will launch a series of memos addressed to the new European Commission focusing on the economic priorities. Nationalisme économique: le retour? - 30 September, from 9.00am to12.30pm. The Ifri (Institut français des relations internationales) and the Club du Cepii (Centre d'études prospectives et d'informations internationales) are jointly organising a colloquium on the risks of an upsurge in economic nationalism. The event will take the form of three round table discussions the topics of which will be: - the return of protectionism and nationalist policies; - the state acting strategically in the service of national interests; - the political dimension of the rise in nationalism.
