Three Parliamentary committees will hear interim commissioners designate for the posts that have fallen vacant in the current Commission, the term of office of which ends in November. The development committee will hear Belgian Karel de Gucht, the budget committee will hear Lithuanian Algirdas Šemeta (both on Tuesday 1/9), and development committee will hear Pole Pawe³ Samecki (on Wednesday 2/9).
