04/08/2009 (Agence Europe) - On Friday 31 July, the new French minister of Culture, Frédéric Mitterand, decided that France's national museums must now open their doors free of charge to all those under 26 years of age and who reside in the European Union. Art lovers will, however, have to be “long term residents of the European Union”.
