Brussels, 04/08/2009 (Agence Europe) - In June 2009 compared with May 2009, the industrial producer price index1 rose by 0.3% in the euro area2 (EA16) and by 0.2% in the EU272. In May3, prices remained stable in both zones. In June 2009 compared with June 2008, industrial producer prices dropped by 6.6% in the euro area and by 6.7% in the EU27.
